The Crazy Stick Fan Club was established in 2019. It has been a vision of it's founders for years to find a way to share the journeys of Crazy Stick and how he has traveled the world and seen more than most. Humanity extends around the world and by the account of our intrepid hero, is present in every corner of the globe. To this realization, it has brought about the development of The Crazy Stick Fan Club.

MY STORY

I believe there was an incredible vibration that echoed throughout the corners of the cosmos and with that vibration came all of creation. Through my art I believe I have an opportunity to return to creation the vibration that brought me here to begin with. And for that I am grateful.  With a whimsical approach, crazystickfan.com was born out of a desire to bring my artwork together and share it with the world.  I enjoy all aspects of creation and here you will find visual, digital, photographic, musical, spiritual and philosophical artistic manifestations. I hope you enjoy as we discover together, the adventures of Crazy Stick.- William J. Karr

CHRONICLES OF CRAZY STICK

Where do we begin?

Since Crazy Stick was born in Humboldt County, California, I should probably start here. Although his exact date of birth is unconfirmed, Crazy Stick was born to a deciduous family and was given the name Arbutus Menzeiseii (Pronounced "Are-Butte-Us Men-Zee-See-Eye" the Latin name for Pacific Madrone) at birth. After taking some time to travel the globe, Crazy Stick and I happened to cross paths in the fall of 2010 on the side of a mountain under the forest canopy. I thought at first it was just another cane, walking stick or a crutch to some but I soon discovered while looking through a different set of eyes that Crazy Stick was standing on his head right in front of me. This is where our story begins...

This song was written on January 20, 2021 as I was contemplating the past, present and future of this country. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been afforded and I recognize that the sacrifices made in order that this country remain standing today and those that will ensure this flag continues flying as a beacon of hope for people around the world. I understand that there is work yet to be done in order that We the People bring this nation into the new day. I understand that it is the generation alive today that is responsible for helping to make this a reality and I call on all people to join with me in celebrating the gifts we have to give to the greater good of all mankind.

In the Hands of God

I sat down at my piano, raised my hands to the sky and said, "Thank you God." I then played whatever my fingers where moved to play. I call these my 'Piano Prayers'. This audio session was recorded on April 23, 2020. The photos and video were captured during several hikes into the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area in Northern California I have taken over the past few years.
